Sustainability
For a family-owned company already in its third generation, sustainable, future-oriented actions and relationships with employees, clients and partners play an especially important role. At Götz, sustainability is reflected in our daily work as well as in our general approach toward people and the environment.
Götz supports a number of charitable and social projects. In addition, ecological and economical aspects are also highly important to us. All three areas are therefore an integral part of our company values.
Social responsibility
What's important to us
We actively carry social responsibility and support a number of social projects.
Our Christmas wish tree event has become a tradition. We make children’s eyes light up by fulfilling their Christmas wishes. In recent years, we have given gifts to children from the children’s home Kallmünz, and in 2021 also to children at Thomas-Wiser-Haus and the children’s home Burgstädt in Chemnitz.
We also support various social institutions with donations such as daycare centers, workshops for people with disabilities, and non-profit associations.
Also our own employees are a clear focus of our social responsibility. This includes fair, respectful treatment in a family atmosphere and an „open door policy.“
We individually promote the talents of our employees through training courses and further education opportunities, thereby opening possibilities for them to advance their careers at our company.
We are also proud of the successful integration of our employees from over 100 nations.
Ecological responsibility
Trailblazer for environmental protection
As early as 1996, we were the first cleaning company in Germany to introduce its own environmental management system and to receive certification to DIN EN ISO 14001 (currently DIN EN ISO 14001:2015). Since 2018, we have added energy management to our integrated management system and have been certified to DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 since November 2018. Today, we feel even more committed toward the environment than ever before. By precisely defining all tasks to be fulfilled with corresponding duties, responsibilities and schedules, we ensure sustainable organizational security.
Another important aspect of our environmental protection program is the ongoing assessment of all work processes and the products or machines used for them in terms of energy efficiency and other environmental or energy-related effects and their possible optimization.
Our employees receive intensive training in the implementation of the knowledge gained and in the use of eco-friendly and energy-saving methods with the right cleaning and care products, as well as conscious efforts to conserve energy. Because for us, quality doesn’t only mean the fulfillment of specifications and schedules, but also responsible treatment of the environment and energy resources.
Additionally, the Götz Group is a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact and is a specialized company pursuant to § 19 I WHG.
Reducing fleet emissions is of high priority for the Götz Group. For this reason, it is also one of the company goals for the year 2022 as well as the annual management review. We plan to further promote electromobility at Götz. By 2025, the number of electrified vehicles and fully electric vehicles is expected to rise to 35% of the entire fleet.

We create secure jobs and are a reliable partner for our customers and employees.
Digitalization is not something we are planning, rather it is already reality. In the implementation within the company group, we continuously consider ecological, economic and social responsibility.
